Bangalore in Deep Shit
Mood:  accident prone
Now Playing: Bangalore in Deep Shit
Its sad, to see my city, crumbling, day after day.
The infrastructure is pathetic. I never used to feel, this way about my city, may be i was too young then, The only places i knew were my school and Home. But now that i have grown up, and working, i travel a lot, and i cant belive what im see'ing. Roads that resemble like craters on moon, Some places, even the craters are non existent, its valleys now. Bangalore has got lot dustier.
I happen to have this little discussion with my colleague, a new guy from Bhopal. I told him, that about 10 Yers ago, Bangalore's infrastructure was self sufficent for people, living here.
But huge influx of people coming from all over india, has been one of many cause, thats chased bangalore to its Down. But then again, thats no excuse, as people came in, there was money to be made, Business Grew, Large MNC started setting up shops here. Surely Government did get a huge amount of money, But where did it all go. One can see, Unfinished Roads, Flyovers, Fishes dying in lakes(after it was cleaned and developed).
One another thing that mazes me is bangalore traffic, People dont have a Sense of Trafiic and Driving, Its a mess, one of the worst in india. In peak hours, it gets uglier, People driving as if they have never heard of traffic rules. Criss crossing at will, breaking all the Rules, on the Road.
Its a sorry state. Mumbai is superior than bangalore, when it comes to traffic, may be people are using Suburban Trains, The WR and Harbour Lines. BEST is one of the cleanliest and punctual services i ahve seen. Three cheers to our Mumbai.
bangalore has a long way to go, if it has to catch Mumbai on the financial map, leave alone everything else, I doubt if it can beat cities like Pune, Hyderabad.
Bangalore is in serious, very serious trouble. God save This place.

Reliance Petroleum
I Happen to get in an rikhshaw, which ran out of petrol, and guess where the driver took it to refill. yes it was our own Reliance.
the first thought occured, that i should ask him, but why Reliance Petroleum.
I did ask him, he Politely replied that his auto gives a good average, and gives around 3 to 4 km's extra, thats in comparision with other Indian petrolem products.
Not bad for a start.
Reliance petroleum is the winner
